We are so hyped up because it's Friday!(Although we do work on Saturdays?) Anyway, have you woken up with a song stuck in your head first thing in the morning?

It's rather quiet in here today. Usually, we have music blasting from different rooms and it can be pretty messy and chaotic when you have a few music genres playing altogether! But most of us are out on appointments/assignments. Like what our manager always says, "Busy is a good problem"! 

Today, we had the opportunity to snap a photo of our Chinese Carriage for Wedding/Event.

Nothing interesting and crazy to report since no one is here but we'll be featuring our Wedding Planners next week! Get to know our planners, I'm sure you'll be amazed at their talent and dedication. (Don't worry, we are good at interrogation).

WE ARE BACK!!!

And so....WE ARE BACK! We apologise for the "MIA" stunt we did but we went through a major reconstruction and now we are as fresh as the freshly baked bread, hot from the oven! And we will be as transparent as ever! We will have updates, not only about anything and everything to do with weddings but also how we function in this crazy 'lil hub we called "home". So, you as our potential client could see that we are worth it! YES WE ARE...

To kick start our first post, we would like to share some photos!

Last week, boss said "You guys, come on! Be crazy and make this place your home. This place is too quiet. Bring anything you want that helps your productivity. If you need a poll, fix one!"

And this is what happened...

Carrine (Marketing Team) is starting a nursery by planting her first cherry tomato plant!

Well I managed to snap a photo of Danielle(P.A). She will be leaving us to concentrate on her studies. You will be dearly missed by us, especially your annoyance ;p  Promise to come back to us!

 But of course,  work is still work...We have an office room that looked like it had just been hit by "Thunderstorm"! We are EXCEPTIONALLY anxious and excited about our Wedding Exhibition in July 2013!

The Wedding planners are such serious people when they have assignments, and believe me...they are neat freaks!!! Unlike us Marketing people...

Their specialty...CREATIVITY! Look at how sweet Jennifer's(Wedding Planner) table is...and Ying Ying (Wedding Planner) is very excited and enthusiastic in her work!

Erm..caught her in the wrong moment...That's just her resting her tired eyes! Planning and organising is tiring but she never fails to give her all!!! Our wedding planners are not only hardworking, but they would take extra miles just to have your dream wedding come true. 

P.S.:Look at the small Eiffel Tower behind her! Well, we have a 4-metre Eiffel Tower if you need it for your wedding...

Butterflies and Cakes offers a certification in Wedding Planning. 

Course Details

• 12 sessions (3 hours each)
• Date of commencement: 26 March
• Classes will be held from 7-10pm every Tuesday and Thursday
• Classes would be held at Butterflies and Cakes (126 Joo Seng Road, Gold Pine Industrial Building, #03-09)

A Very Paris Wedding

For their 5th year anniversary, the couple went for a holiday in Europe. While walking along the bank of the Seine River, Ben asked Olivia to take a boat ride. Though surprised, she agreed and got in the boat, which was curiously decorated with a bouquet of roses and already had another passenger carrying a camera. Ben said that he planned for them to have an informal video enjoying the boat ride. That, however, wasn’t all he planned for that day.

As they cruised toward the Eiffel Tower, Ben handed his iPad to Olivia and asked her to watch a slideshow he had prepared. As she did so, he pulled out a guitar and started serenading her. It wasn’t long before she started crying, knowing that Ben had little skill in music and must have practiced a lot in secret just to give her this performance. By the end of the song, with both of them in tears, Ben went down on one knee and proposed to Olivia.

Because of the part Paris played in their relationship, Olivia and Ben naturally wanted to celebrate their wedding in it. But while it may be beyond them to bring all their guests to the City of Lights, they found a way to bring the city to their family and friends. So on their dinner banquet, the couple simulated Paris at their very own ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia 

It was a romantic journey with them and seeing their love for each other serves an inspiration to couples out there.

Busy December

Yes with the wedding season on full swing, we have weddings after weddings after weddings!

Though it is tiring but the journey with the couple from beginning to the end is worth the hardwork!

Meeting new couples, learning new things, going shopping together, going venue hunting for that perfect place, choosing props and themes, going for food tasting and making decisions decisions decisions. Yet its all worth it once another successful wedding happens and a new friendship is formed with the couple.
